"Did Jesus Just Happen" The Life of Christ
The Sermon on the Mount was spoken by Christ before His rejection and was the constitution of the then offered Kingdom. Now that the Kingdom has been withdrawn, it is not in force but will be in the Millennial Kingdom.
The Kingdom will be manifested. There is a period of one thousand years during which Satan shall be bound and Christ shall reign on this earth literally and will set up His earthly Kingdom (Revelation 20: 1-7). In the Old Testament. we see the history of the Gentiles. There were four world kingdoms that will succeed each other on this earth and they will be destroyed in turn by the kingdom to come. These kingdoms were literal and the kingdom that will succeed all these kings is call the stone kingdom, it will be a literal kingdom on this earth for seven years and it will fill the whole earth. It will be followed by the Millennial Kingdom which will be a complete Theocracy. Jesus Christ will be the King that will sit on the throne of David and rule this entire earth. At this time there will no one in heaven will be transferred to this earth (Hosea 3:5; Jer. 30:9; Ezek. 34:54; 37:35; 45:22; Isa.65 and 66; Isa 11 and 12. As the Jews say "Messiah" is coming, "He" is, and yet "He" has, (Calvary), but He shall come to set things right, save Israel, lift the curse from the earth, stop war, hate, sin, poverty and set up a government and shall be the "Mighty Counselor-The Prince of Peace-King of Kings and Lord of Lords." Earth's Golden age will finally be realized: Acts 1:11, Acts 3: 19-21, John 14:3, Hebrews 9:28, Phil. 3:20, 1 Thess. 4: 16-17, 1 Tim. 2:5, Matt. 16:17, 11 Thess. 1:17, Mark 8:38, Matt. 24:27-39, Luke 21: 34-35.
In this earthly kingdom, the Lord "Messiah" will deal with the Jewish nation and Israel is restored to her land, Ezek. 36:23, 39: 25, Jer. 32: 37-41, Isa. 11: 1-16, and would rebuild the Temple and worship will be restored as the Jewish leaders will take the Book of Hebrews at heart.
The Messianic prophecies will be finally complete in the "Apokalupsis" or unveiling (Revelation) of the Messiah and He will be the same one (Acts 1:11) as was on earth, suffered, resurrected and ascended, and will come to bring peace and finally hope for all mankind.
