As we continue our thoughts from "Did Jesus Just Happen", I want to cover one more aspect of why some do not believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ. There are many who object the idea of the Virgin Birth of Jesus because similar claims are made by Greek mythology for certain gods and goddesses.
This week, I want to share a few things on the Second Aspect or objection concerning the Virgin Birth Of Jesus, from "Did Jesus Just Happen" An objection that some make is that the Virgin Birth of Jesus is not magnified in Scripture. Only two references are made to the Virgin Birth, in all the New Testament, one in Matthew and the one in Luke.
For the next several weeks, we will be discussing "The Birth of Jesus" from my book, "Did Jesus Just Happen?"
The birth of Jesus was no ordinary birth. He was born of a Virgin! This simply means that Mary had not known any man intimately before the birth of Jesus. It means that Jesus had no actual human father.
The third aspect of the Genealogy of Jesus deals with the proof of His identity with sinful human beings. Not only is Jesus vitally linked with the human race, but He is associated with sinful human beings. Though, He himself was guilty of no sin, He was constantly identified with sinful humanity.
